Anne-Marie & Pier

Anne Marie and Pier's wedding was a true departure from tradition, and it was an absolute delight to capture their unique day. We couldn't have been happier with how beautifully the day unfolded, especially with the constant overcast skies that provided lovely, soft light throughout the entire day. Surprisingly, not a single drop of rain fell, making for a perfect atmosphere.

The day began with the preparations of the gents in Pringle Bay, and from there, we headed to the bride, who was getting ready in Bettys Bay, just a stone's throw from their stunning venue, The Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens. Anne Marie and Pier's love for nature made this venue the perfect choice for their day wedding. They opted for a different approach – no seating plan, no elaborate three-course meals. Instead, it was just the couple and all their guests and family, enjoying each other's company in the heart of nature.

Capturing the moments of joy and togetherness was a genuine pleasure. The entire day had a relaxed and easygoing vibe, which, in turn, made our job that much more enjoyable. The combination of such a beautiful venue and the presence of so many joyful people resulted in some truly special photos.

The Harold Porter Botanical Gardens provided a breathtaking backdrop, and Anne Marie's choice of dress from Bride & Co & Hillette Stapelberg added to the uniqueness of the day. Mari Conradie worked her magic with makeup, Saffron Events handled the styling and coordination, Boulevard 82 satisfied everyone's taste buds with their food truck, and Tap That kept the keg flowing.

Here's to more unconventional and unforgettable weddings in the future, and heartfelt thanks to Anne Marie and Pier for inviting us to be part of their extraordinary day at Harold Porter Botanical Gardens.
